YouTube Shorts Income Calculator

🎬 YouTube Shorts Income Calculator
OFFICIAL FORMULA

Calculate earnings using YouTube's official RPM method

📢 Official Calculation Method:
This calculator uses YouTube’s official RPM (Revenue Per Mille) formula: Earnings = (Views ÷ 1000) × RPM. RPM represents creator earnings after YouTube’s 45% revenue share.
💡 YouTube Shorts RPM Reference:
Low RPM ($0.3–1.0): Entertainment, Gaming Shorts
Medium RPM ($1–3): Tutorials, Reviews, Educational Shorts
High RPM ($3–6+): Finance, Tech, Business Shorts

Note: RPM values already include YouTube’s 45% revenue deduction.

YouTube Shorts Income Calculator

helps creators understand how daily revenue is calculated based on views, music usage, and YouTube’s revenue-sharing model. YouTube Shorts monetization works by collecting total ad revenue and placing a portion into the creator pool. Your final earnings depend on how many views your Shorts receive and whether any music tracks are used.

YouTube first distributes revenue to music publishers based on how often their licensed audio is used across Shorts. If a creator uses two music tracks, then 66% of the earned revenue goes to music publishers, leaving 33% for the creator. If only one music track is used, the revenue is split 50/50 between creators and music publishers. When a creator uses no music, they keep 100% of their portion from the creator pool.

After music deductions, eligible creators receive 45% of the remaining revenue share. This means your earnings depend on three main factors: your total daily views, your audience’s geographical location, and whether you use music in your Shorts.

The YouTube Shorts Income Calculator makes it easier to estimate potential daily revenue so you can better understand and plan your content strategy.
