Getting Started

Four steps to a fully-optimized media library:

  1. 1

    Open the plugin

After activation, go to Media → Alt Optimizer in your WordPress dashboard.

  2. 2

    Configure Settings

Set your Site Context (e.g. "Perfume Store"), Brand Name, and Focus Keyword under Settings → Alt Optimizer.

  3. 3

    Create your first rule

    Build an IF/THEN rule in the Settings page. Example: IF filename contains "perfume" THEN ALT: {clean_filename} - Premium Perfume | {brand_name}

  4. 4

    Run bulk optimization

Head to Bulk Optimize and process your whole library — safely rollbackable if you change your mind.

Smart Rules EnginePro

Automate ALT generation with IF/THEN logic.

Available conditions

  • filename starts with "text" — prefix match

Watch out: when listing multiple keywords, do NOT add spaces after commas. Correct: "perfume, oil, attar" — incorrect: "perfume, oil, attar".

  • Drag & drop ordering — arrange rules by priority
  • On/off toggle — pause a rule without deleting it
  • Test button — preview output before saving
  • Export / import — backup rules as JSON
